Portland professor resigns with scathing letter about woke brainwashing at 'social justice factory'



Peter Boghossian has decided that he no longer wants to metaphorically punch a time clock in a social justice factory.



Philosophy professor Boghossian has today informed the provost of Portland State University in Oregon that he is quitting his teaching position there because the campus has apparently become besotted with intolerance to free speech.



"While I am grateful for the opportunity to have taught at Portland State for over a decade, it has become clear to me that this institution is no place for people who intend to think freely and explore ideas," he declared in setting forth in writing various reasons for his resignation.

He is brave to do that.

The groups are also hosting a "Rally and protest to get murderer Kyle Rittenhouse off our campus" on Dec. 1 at Arizona State University.



"Even with a not-guilty verdict from a flawed 'justice' system - Kyle Rittenhouse is still guilty to his victims and the families of those victims," the demand letter states. "Join us to demand from ASU that those demands be met to protect students from a violent blood-thirsty murderer."



"Rittenhouse took the lives of innocent people with the intent to do so—by strapping an assault rifle to himself in a crowd of unarmed citizens. That is the textbook definition of intention. The decision made by the court is one of thousands of cases that have been influenced by biased judges, predominantly white juries, and mistakes inherent in a judicial system founded off of injustice to begin with," the spokesperson said.

Yes. Majors in CRT, Woke, Racism, Climate etc. isn't going to produce a bridge designer whose bridge I'm going to drive over  ac_smile

My daughter attends U of C..



She isn't in a BA program..



You can't avoid the wokeness on any Canadian university campus, but it's not constant as in a liberal arts degree program.

My boy graduated with a BA. He works for the federal government. About the only place that values a BA.
