Philosophy professor Boghossian has today informed the provost of Portland State University in Oregon that he is quitting his teaching position there because the campus has apparently become besotted with intolerance to free speech.



"While I am grateful for the opportunity to have taught at Portland State for over a decade, it has become clear to me that this institution is no place for people who intend to think freely and explore ideas," he declared in setting forth in writing various reasons for his resignation.

As previously reported, Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges on Nov. 19th based on comprehensive evidence showing that he'd opened fire in self-defense. The evidence included clear-cut video footage of three longtime criminals chasing after him during the 2020 Kenosha riots, reportedly with the intent to cause him harm.



Yet a large number of American citizens, companies, and institutions continue to claim that it was somehow racist and unjust for Rittenhouse to be acquitted of killing two of the criminals and injuring the other. Incidentally, this narrative coincides perfectly with the dubious narrative that's been broadcast by the establishment press.

Included among those who've fallen for this narrative is apparently every major college/university in America, which is not necessarily a surprise, given that many institutions of "higher learning" seem to have turned into "social justice" factories.



The popular Twitter account "Libs of TikTok" has been documenting examples of colleges and universities going into "woke" overdrive in response to the Rittenhouse verdict, and it seems like the examples go on for days.
