Possibly. However, the widely accepted understanding of a conspiracy theory is not that it is false, but merely lacks sufficient evidence to accept it is fact.



The flat earthers have no evidence of the shape of the Earth. None. The alternate view is amply supported by science and images.



Thus, the Earth is flat is just a theory.

Im not completely sold on flat earth, but there is a lot of evidence that it is. Deader is sold on it, and has showed a lot of evidence over the years. I've even pointed out things as well.

I don't use it for that reason.



It's meant to shut down people and arguments.

It was a term invented by the CIA to discredit those that were close to the truth.
