Something about em doesn't seem very gangy, scary or dangerous

They're obnoxious in groups, but just like any other person by themselves alone albeit uncouth. Men that still think that they can act like unruly teenagers. In many states it's against the law for them to wear their club colours as it just instigates fights.

Bars here won't allow gang colours.

Yeah...sorry that's what I meant. No colours in most establishments these days. Having said all that, there are some good actual motorcycle clubs that do a lot of charity work and ride to live as was originally intended. Enjoy the scene and friendship.

Herman likes to ride with groups of other men, possibly a club, I don't know.

When I was young I hung with one percenter "clubs" all over the world. Now I meet up and ride with a good bunch of guys all over the age of forty five. We meet in Regina a couple times a month and go on rides and drink.

It's good for mates to ride for the right reasons. I'm all for that good behaviour. I haven't owned a bike for absolute ages. They call motorcyclists Temporary Australians here in Oz...on account of the shit road users of course. Did you know that the fast lane doesn't exist here in Australia? Everyone just drives in any lane! It's unbelievable...

No passing lanes on Australian highways?

The left lanes are for people roughly sticking to the speed limit. The right lane here is meant for passing.

That's what I assumed.

Back in South Africa, if you were in the fast lane going slow...they flick their lights at you from 200m back! If you were still in that right lane by the time that they caught up with you...then gunshots would probably ensue. True story...

I like motorcycle thingy's generally, but not the motorcycle gangs. We have an abundance of grown men here in Australia, that identify themselves as gangsters, but are really are just braindead cretins.

I could tell you some stories. They're mostly intimidating in groups. Their nominees, "noms" deal out most of the stupidity and are willing to go to jail for it. I came so close to contaminating their water source with arsenic at a particular HQ. It was purely the collateral damage that made me think better of it.

Even earlier this week when there was an inter-gang murderous blood bath at a Sydney chapter, I laughed my arse off. These cretins deserve every thing that they get.

They're criminals Fash. They rape, plunder and kill people. Most of our deaths are attributed to these clowns. I got caught up with them by just walking past them at a dingy nightclub years ago. Four or five blokes overpowered me at one of their clubs and kicked the shit out of me. Mistaken identity. Broken ribs and a possible cracked skull. I was mad as hell and their apologies just didn't cut it for me. It took me years to get over that one. In the end I didn't want to possibly run the risk of jail.

My heart was in my mouth..

But, I was nervous for nothing.....they got on their motorcycles and rode away.

Hell's Angels do good work from time to time.

This one time they were hired as bouncers at a Grinspoon concert in my village. I grabbed some beers from the bar and was walking through the crowd, when some mates lifted me up into a crowd surf. I had to hold my beers to the side in crucifix fashion while I progressed on my back getting passed around the crowd. Finally this short Hell's Angle grabbed by jeans by the ankle section and pulled me down. A couple more escorted me out for "crowd surfing"...

I marched straight home, grabbed a tub of Neapolitan ice cream and through ice cream cones at them, goading them to come fight me.

The lead singer, Phil Jamieson, pissed himself laughing. He shouted on the mic, "did you see that guy...he looked just like Jesus Christ!?"

I heard the HA did concert security. Probably their only legal income source.

Scenic tours on motorcycle and sidecar is another. The Hell's Angels is a very confusing group of bikers. It's a very mixed message augmented by an existential group of individuals. Obviously country to country and generation to generation shapes that anomaly.

Yeah doing concert security in a town that isn't yours is somewhat brazen. I think that I blew their minds with my soft serve of ice creams! Lol....throwing them felt as though I was throwing mini stielhandgranate! The acid trip was sensational.
