Quote from: Lokmar on October 22, 2025, 11:18:02 PMYou do realize its an incomplete manuscript ITFP, right?
Biblical scholars consider it an important guide to the historical Jesus. John and Luke's gospels were plagiarized from the earlier gospel of Mark.

And don't get me started on Paul's forged letters that are central to the NT and you like to quote without knowing where any of them came from.

Quote from: Dove on October 22, 2025, 04:42:39 PMThe only biblically justified reason to take up arms against a people is to fight Islam.

We need another crusade.

Lok likes to be under the old covenant sometimes lol.

Our problem isnt the jews at all. Its the Islamists.

Dove, the jews are the ones who brought the Islamists into our countries.

In the US, they came up with the 1965 Hart Celler Immigration Act, which has permanently fucked the White demographics.

In Europe, it's well documented how jews have been the loudest champions of mass immigration and "multiculturalism".

Barbara fucking Spectre infamously boasted about how "jews are going to be at the centre of the new European multicultural mode and likely be resented for their leading role". I have posted heaps and heaps of evidence to support my claims over the years, as has Blazor, yet despite the mountain of proof, you refuse to listen!

Islamists are a symptom of jewish globalism, same as the woke movement, LGBT, White guilt, Antifa, troons in women's dressing rooms etc etc...

I wish I knew more about the three main monotheistic religions. Discussions around them are more heated than boring old free markets vs command economies.

i don't like arguing "religion".... God gave us free will for a reason.... if someone doesn't want anything to do with it, he has a right to be left alone about it.... pushing it on a unresponsive person is low-key harassment.... and will probably drive em further away.... i'm okay with whatever someone wants to believe.... as long as they respect my rights, i'll extend them the same courtesy....

At least you can argue religion. I don't know enough about any religious text to do so. When cc and I would have our battles over Muslims I would be forced to tap out when she started quoting Muslim books of faith.

Start farther back in the timeline.
Go all the way back as far as recorded history can take you.
Look at the inception and spread of religious beliefs along the timeline, especially the similarities and common elements being carried forward. Not necessarily the names of the characters in the myths, but the fundamental tropes and narrative structures (virgin births, resurrections, etc.).

One conclusion is inevitable:
"New" religions borrow heavily and incorporate elements from previous iterations. They are simply adapted to better fit a changing world or to appeal to a different populace's mindset while still being familiar enough to bring along at least some adherents to the "old way".

By the time you get to the abrahamic death cults that hold so much sway in the modern world they're just some of the most recent faces of the same bogeyman that's been haunting the human imagination since the dawn of our alleged sentience.

Humans are and have been a very superstitious bunch of primates.

I see the setting aside of those superstitions as our next big evolutionary challenge.
