 Just a few days. We waited until they emerged from the cacoon and gave them a few days to get nice and strong and well fed.....then we let them go today :)



 Squish didnt want to at first....she was calling them her "babies".  I wanted to release them yesterday but she was resisting and I really wanted her to do it. So we talked it out and finally she did it.



 She was bummed but she did the right thing.

We went for a walk and found another turtle by the road.



 Picked it up to take it to the pond....and saw it was laying eggs :D no clue why the dummy was egg laying by the road but that's a sort of testimony to how peaceful it is here.



 She wasnt thrilled with us. We brought lettuce and cucumber out to her to apologize lol
