People do know there are other, more mature political boards out there, even redit has well moderated and civil political subredits.



BF's politics is not political discussion, it's the trolling and flaming equivalent of Meltdown. Even Stormfront 2.0 does not allow the racist crap that Lokmar can post at BF, probably because Stormfront 2.0 is under 24 hour NSA monitoring.



BF is a niche forum that lost most of it's core base when all the CBT blow ins blew into BF. He is stuck babysitting people of "the community" that are not capable of posting anywhere else. Where do Flynn, Lokmar and Benzo go if BF closes?

That's why the board is closed to lurkers and only registered members can view threads.



Reddit is garbage and has a massive lefty bias. BF is a good forum in my opinion. It obviously isn't to everybody's taste and is far from perfect, but in this day and age where forums are going the way of the dodo, it's in pretty good standing in terms of daily traffic.

I skimmed through BF. Some of the subs, like Sports, Gaming, and Death I got no interest in, so I didn't look. Meltdown does, but it's private. Politics is a write off. Damn, it sucks. Introductions and General Discussions has some interesting stuff, but most of the cool stuff is old. Nah, I aint joining that forum.
