Abscess that turned out to have a superbug... 2 operations, 16 days in Fiona Stanley Hospital... a gash 9cms wide by 7cms deep.... 12 weeks ago... I go and have a wound dressing everyday at silverchain.... the wound is only 2 cms by 2cms and there is no depth now. It's stinging at the moment.



I am thinking or hoping rather I only have 2 weeks left before it is fully covered.


 What on earth did you get injured on?

The central air blew the fuck up at midnight, it was making so much noise it sounded like a giant rat was break dancing in the duct work. It was 61 degrees outside yet the AC could not get the temp below 75 in the house, had to open the windows. Figured we would not get a guy to come out for a week but he came the same day we called and the thing froze up due to no freon. there has been a slow leak that they can't fix for years and the only option is to replace the whole unit or make sure it is serviced in the early spring every year to make sure it has enough freon

It looked nothing on the outside... on the inside it was hurting like hell. I kept taking prescription pain meds... day 6 I thought I better see a doctor to get it lanced and some antibiotic. She sent me straight to hospital instead. She saved my life.



You are made to heal from the wound base up...they packed it everyday with silver strips. For 6 days I screamed the hospital down... the doctor said she has to have that twice a day... I said, Nope, not happening... get another plan  .... the put me on a vacc machine[attachment=0]front-view_670.jpg[/attachment]

 Yep .....gotta lance it, clean it all out and pack it with silver alginate. Did they use any honey med?



 How long did you have a wound vac? I hate those things. The way they fill with wound goo and fluid really grosses me out lol. They work really well though.
