Growing up in my house we always had lots of that crap around. My mom worked and mornings were hectic so cereal was the quickest and easiest thing to grab. My sister and brother liked the surgery ones so as a majority rule we always had them around. I think all that sugary breakfast cereal I ate was a major contributor to why by the 8th grade I weighed over 200lbs.



Nowadays as an adult who has learned a thing or two, in my house that crap is forbidden. Any cereal in my house consists of either plain rice based cereal, whole grains cereals, or hot oatmeal.

It's a cultural thing I realize and I understand how practical it is. You probably didn't eat a lot congee for breakfast like I did.

No I didn't eat any of that. The few times I've seen it it reminds me a lot of cream of wheat, which of course reminds me of sperm which of course I also did not eat as a kid.
