70's and 80's heavy metal bands had some of the best cover art around IMO



Iron Maiden had awesome album art but most of their songs are about history same with newer metal bands like sabaton  also go into real historical events in their songs.

I liked Lemmy. Not so much his band. But, he was alright for a rich musician.
