 Do they jump on cars and bodies and stuff?  Over by lake st claire (Detroit area) there would be legions of fish flies every summer. It was disgusting.

I could look for a video of our annual grasshopper invasion..

 That makes you sad? I love the end of summer. Probably because autumn is my favorite season. October is my favorite month.  All we do is bonfires and cider mills lol.

There's less sunlight, and October here can be quite chilly..



But, the end of summer is a reminder a cold winter is around the corner.

 It does get pretty overcast.  We still get good sunlight here up until November.  I love when its crisp out and fall colors are out and its sunny but cool.



 But yeah winter is pretty gloomy. We up our vit D here in the winter to ward off seasonal depression.

Autumn is my favourite time too.... particularly around October. Harvest celebrations...the bugs are gone.... forests are pretty.... Halloween and devil's night finish it off.... and easier to plug fat squirrels and deer.





....then there are the fantastically morbid holiday celebrations in people's barns (done up as hay bale mazes with cool decorations, pounding music, and plenty of kegs.... everybody dressed up).



I miss that shit. It's the time to be in Northern Michigan.



The energy is massive....

We get that here.... the locals wire green awning mesh over their vehicle front ends to stop their radiators from getting caked in locust jizz....
