- Is called "Canada's South Pacific" because of its warm, coastal climate.



I once had a friend visit from Montreal and he was astonished to discover we have palm trees here. Yeah, palm trees in Canada, eh? Sorta breaks a few myths, don't it?

 Nope! There were palm trees there. I was pretty amazed by them....it was the first time I had ever seen palm trees.  There was a beach.



 I actually forgot to ask where this was. I'm gonna do that right now before I forget again. Now its bugging me.
