Victoria, B.C.
- Has North America's second oldest Chinatown (after San Francisco);
- Is called "Canada's South Pacific" because of its warm, coastal climate.
I once had a friend visit from Montreal and he was astonished to discover we have palm trees here. Yeah, palm trees in Canada, eh? Sorta breaks a few myths, don't it?

Me and my friends once visited some town in Canada and it was like some tropical oasis. ...i wasnt expecting palm trees and such.
I wish I could remember the name of it. It was like a 12 hour drive from Detroit.
