What do you mean where "Bill left off"? Bill didn't do anything.

The Clinton admin road the .com bubble and the rest of the tech stuff that was rising back in the mid and late 90s. The only thing they can take credit for was the WalMart type jobs that were a side-effect of NAFTA. In a lot of ways Bill's handling of the economy was little different than what Obama has done.

The only thing Hillary and her socialist ideology will ride is what's left of Obama's limp dick.

Again though Renee, it is about perception and not what former prez Clinton actually did. I think Newt Gingrich deserves a helluva lot more credit for eliminating the deficit, but Bill gets all the kudos. People associate the Clintons with prosperity even as you say they had little to do with.

don`t get me wrong..i am a hardcore libertarian...but all of those people are beholding and afraid of the Tea Party......the US in general is now a fully fledged, fully entrenched welfare state....no Tea Party adherent could garner 51% plus of the vote or the majority of electoral college votes....the republicans have to start moving back to the center and come up with some reasonable policies to pander to the soft center....

It's a point of fact is that when it comes to the presidential nomination no American political party has drafted a challenger over a sitting Vice President since Teddy Roosevelt supported William Howard Taft over his own VP Charles Fairbanks in 1908. If Hillary gets the nod I think it's going to divide the democrats and could cause irreparable harm to her candidacy. Her main saving grace will be that she is a woman and many idiots will vote for her on the basis of historical precedence over what is good for the country; much like the way racist morons voted for Obama because he is a black man.

As for Jeb Bush he is looking more and more like the logical choice for the GOP but he will have that negative perception left by GWB to contend with. People in the US are stupid. They don't hear the message from the candidates or see the qualifications of the candidate. They elect their leaders on media sound bites and make decisions based on how the candidate is received by the media. That's how we ended up with this slimy, cowardly, grossely unqualified, progressive, golf playing, idiot currently occupying the Whitehouse.

I don't see anyone in either party that is a shoe in. I will predict Hillary and Chris Christie will face off in 2016.

Not a chance in hell dude. Any hope Christie had of carrying the GOP nomination died with the bridge closure scandal.
