You do know many of you sound like broken washer stuck on rise and repeat in an echo chamber  right?

If you think old Herman was pissed at you, you are one delicate little flower. I asked you a question, and you ignored it. I explained that I am not only not right wing, it don't exist in this country or the one to the South and again you ignored that. If you want me to respond to something you post, you have to respond to me. You aint done that.

I don't know what you are getting at and you aint posting a rebuttal to my posts. But, if you belive spreading your ass cheeks for Schwab's boy Justine while he buys media obedience, tramples provincial jurisdiction, imposes crippling inflation, martial law, jails peaceful protesters, supports proxy wars, takes away the country's energy and food security and destroy's rural culture in this country will win you a pat on the head from prog elites, you are probably right. But, you aint part of the Davos club, so at the end of the day, you will still be

poor with less control over your own life like the rest of the proletariat.

Asked why he supported some protests but was determined to crush the trucker convoy, Justin Trudeau answered without hesitation: He supported — and even participated in — protests he agreed with, but he did not support — and vowed to crush — those with "unacceptable views," that is, views he disagrees with.

We are now seeing how far his NDP-backed Liberal government is prepared to go to economically disenfranchise those who hold "unacceptable views." A convoy organizer was jailed and led into court in shackles. Bank accounts were frozen, businesses were destroyed, and many working Canadians will find it impossible to earn a living in their own country.

I could go on and on, but I think even a VF poster can get the very obvious point. Liberty and prosperity are not a birth right. Look at Venezuela, and Argentina. Both were former wealthy states destroyed by ideology. It can happen here too. Although we will be given more rope to hang ourselves.

I don't give a flying fuck about Canadian/American horseshit politics. Also, Xi is an even worse president than Jiang Zemin. However, any Chairman and prez of China has to care about the concerns of the masses. Dismissing their concerns by calling them fringers, misognynists or racists like your pm did would force the Standing Committee of the CCP to replace him with someone who doesn't hate the people of China.

Election Watch (EW), a Wisconsin election integrity watchdog organization, has discovered that more than 150,000 votes cast in the 2020 presidential election cannot be connected with a valid address.

EW computer analyst Peter Bernegger said the group's study of Wisconsin's voter rolls found 45,000 such occurrences involving people who were living out of state in the Nov. 3 ballot, with another 107,000 documented instances on the part of voters who moved to another address within the state and cast a ballot in a different jurisdiction from the one in which they actually reside.

"That's over 150,000 votes cast in the 2020 presidential election that cannot be tied to a valid address," said Bernegger. "That's illegal in the state of Wisconsin.

Arizona has started to dismantle its makeshift border wall made of shipping containers that was championed by former Gov. Doug Ducey but faced opposition from newly minted Gov. Katie Hobbs and was the target of a Biden administration lawsuit.

Footage taken on Jan. 3 shows construction machinery removing a line of shipping containers placed along the U.S.–Mexico border in Yuma, Arizona, which coincided with the day that Hobbs was sworn in as governor.

Illegal immigration has soared under President Joe Biden's watch, with unauthorized crossings topping 2.76 million in fiscal year 2022, according to Customs and Border Protection data.

That figure broke the previous record by more than 1 million and was more than twice the highest level notched during the tenure of former President Donald Trump, who made stemming illegal immigration a key part of his platform with his signature slogan, "Build the Wall."

Hobbs, who on Jan. 3 became the first Democrat governor in Arizona in 16 years, had been critical of Republican Ducey's border wall, labeling it as ineffective political grandstanding.

Yuma County Sheriff's Office deputies have said that the containers have helped prevent illegal immigrants from crossing into the United States.

"Our deputies have noticed traffic is slowing down," one of them told KYMA-TV.

Ontario math teachers to attend retreat to learn Indigenous, 'non-Eurocentric mathematical knowledges'

Math teachers in Ontario are invited to take part in a two-day annual retreat in February to deepen their understanding of Indigenous mathematics.

Math teachers in Ontario are invited to take part in a two-day annual retreat in February to deepen their understanding of Indigenous mathematics.

The event is called Exploring the Power and Potential of Indigenous Knowledge Systems in Mathematics and is being hosted by the Ontario Mathematics Coordinators Association (OMCA).

Throughout the two days, educators will explore how "mathematics, along with other subjects, are not exempt from colonial bias and harmful practices that lead to inequities in student achievement."

The idea that math is racist has been circulating for some time now. In September last year, Heather Theijsmeijer, a Canadian teacher, drew media attention for saying that "There are many math education practices that we (white folk) don't see as racist or supremacist, because they are so ingrained in our background and experiences (and we have been the ones to benefit from them.)"

"Mathematics has been used to normalize racism and marginalization of non-Eurocentric mathematical knowledges, and a decolonial, anti-racist approach to mathematics education makes visible its historical roots and social constructions," it continued.

This new approach to teaching math isn't just confined to Canada. In California, critical race theory has been injected into the math curriculum and educators are instructed to "apply social justice principles to math lessons." This is somehow supposed to close the achievement gap between racial groups.

Math teachers don't just have to incorporate critical race theory into their lessons. They also need to ensure that they are teaching gender identity ideology as well to create a supposedly safe and inclusive environment for "LGBTQ+" students.

In a recently published blog post titled "How Do We Make Math Class More Inclusive of Trans and Non-Binary Identities", an activist educator recommended a data collection activity in which male and female were accompanied by options such as "other" and "intersex," with a separate gender category containing "agender, genderfluid, female, male, nonbinary, transman, transwoman, and other."

Whatever governments around the world are doing to lower greenhouse gas emissions, it's not working.

Entering the new year, emissions from fossil fuels and cement production in 2022 were virtually identical to the highest level ever recorded — 36.7 billion tonnes in 2019.

The estimate for 2022, with final calculations still being done, is 36.6 billion tonnes, up from 36.4 billion tonnes in 2021 and 34.8 billion tonnes in 2020. However, 2020 was an outlier year because it was the first year of the pandemic, which caused a global recession.

The only other time emissions fell in the modern era occurred from 2008-09, caused by the global recession that started with the subprime mortgage derivative scandal.

Logically, emissions this year will go down from 2022 because of the current recession, but relying on recessions to lower emissions isn't desirable or sustainable.

By contrast, replacing coal-fired electricity with natural gas is the single most effective way we have to lower emissions, using existing technologies, because natural gas burns at half the carbon dioxide intensity of coal.

If the rest of the world used as little coal as Canada does to generate electricity, the problem of rising emissions would be solved.

The most effective way Canada, the world's fourth-largest producer of natural gas, could lower emissions globally would be to develop the infrastructure needed to transport natural gas from Canada's interior to tidewater, convert it to liquified natural gas and export it globally on ocean-going tankers.

For people all over the world, their lives are basically dependent on fossil fuels. And so the idea that we are going to get people off of fossil fuels by making it so expensive that it makes it impossible for them to have good lives is morally reprehensible.
