But I bet nothing happens, other than the party faithful developing a blind spot to it. While screaming that Trump shouldn't be allowed a second run because he exercised his presidential right to do what Biden did illegally.

Exactly.  Just like when Hillary broke the law wrt classified documents nothing will be done.  Trump already produced the presidential order which declassified the documents for his presidential library, Dems knew this, but went on their fake witch hunt anyway.

In 2022, just shy of 40,000 people entered Canada illegally at Roxham Rd. As they have since 2017, the Trudeau government has done nothing to stop this; in fact, they encourage it.



But now Pierre Poilievre is calling for it to be closed and our legal immigration system fixed.



It shouldn't be like this; we have an agreement with the United States, signed by the Chretien government two decades ago, to stop this kind of thing. The Safe Third Country Agreement states that Canada and the United States recognize each other as safe countries for refugees and that anyone showing up at the border declaring refugee status from either country will be turned back because they are already in a safe location.



Poilievre said a Conservative government would close Roxham Rd. and put the emphasis on legal immigration by fixing the system. That's a big improvement from Justin Trudeau's response, which has been to send immigration staff to process those crossing illegally and more Mounties to help them get their luggage across the border.



The Liberals don't want to close Roxham, though, not now and not ever. It's another chance to import American wedge politics into Canada and claim that by opposing Roxham Rd., the Conservatives oppose all immigration.



We can expect to see more of that in the coming months because it's good for Trudeau and his party politically.



On the whole though, Roxham Rd. is bad for Canada because it undermines our national faith in the system.

The House Freedom Caucus has filed legislation that would take approximately $22 billion from United Nations funding for finishing the U.S.-Mexico border wall for two years.



The Close Biden's Open Border Act would take the approximate $11 billion annual funding the U.S. sends to the U.N. and "redirect the money towards completion of the wall," according to a press release from Republican Rep. Bob Good of Virginia.

Democrats are cashing out on their fake outrage over IRS funding



Earlier this week, Democrats in Congress lamented the fact that Republicans voted to nix funding to the IRS, which included the hiring of 87,000 IRS agents. The Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act eliminates billions of dollars in IRS funding from the Inflation Reduction Act. The bill passed mostly along party lines with a vote of 221-210.



Yet as much as they whined, they also didn't do anything about the tax code when they controlled the House of Representatives for the last four years. This latest "outrage" is nothing but more hyperbolic propaganda and theatricality to rile up voters' emotions.



Democrats claim that affluent people use deduction loopholes to abuse the system and not "pay their fair share in taxes." It's one of the reasons Democrats have given to justify the hiring of those new IRS agents. But if this was indeed true, why didn't Democrats do anything about it in Congress — other than trying to increase the IRS bureaucracy? They controlled Congress from 2018 to 2022 and did nothing to introduce legislation or meaningful change to eliminate such loopholes. In fact, what legislation they did pass created hundreds of billions in new loopholes almost entirely for rich people.

Joe Rogan suggested on his podcast this week that the wanton violence and seeming lawlessness in various American cities may not be accidental, but rather by design.



The podcaster told former CIA agent Mike Baker on a recent episode of the "Joe Rogan Experience" that leftist billionaire George Soros, 92, "wants crime to flourish" and "funds corrosion."



Rogan noted that he had spoken to Republican Gov. Greg Abbott about George Soros and that Abbott explained the billionaire's modus operandi, particularly as it regards exerting influence over American law and politics.



"He's playing like a global game ... and he enjoys doing it," Rogan added.



TheBlaze reported this week on revelations that Soros' nonprofit system, the Soros Network, has funneled nearly $21 billion into left-leaning politics since 2000.



Open Secrets indicated that Soros was the "top individual super PAC donor for the 2022 midterm election," having contributed at least $126 million to leftist super PACS in the last election cycle.



The Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund indicated in a recent report that, as of June 2022, the U.S. had "at least 75 Soros-Backed social justice prosecutors, supported through campaign dollars and/or Soros-funded progressive infrastructure groups."
