No offense, but most Americans are so ignorant of the one time globally accepted practive of slavery.

I completely agree.

Hell, the muhzies kidnapped and enslaved entire towns of people from Europe. Very few of these slaves survived.

Slavery was universal.

The Arab slave trade also had 10 times as many black Africans as the Atlantic slave trade. Arabs also routinely worked blacks to death in mines so that the vast majority died with in one year.  Especially in places such as Egypt, Oman, Yemen, and Morocco.  Part of that is the Arab slave trade went on so much longer.  India and China also had slaves for thousands of years into the modern era while Native Americans all pretty much used slavery.

It was always every where and the only thing that makes Europeans different is they actually ended slavery and then forced others to also end slavery.  First the slave trade then slavery.

Leave it up to a democRAT to figure out how to spend even more taxpayer money for centuries on end.

On Wednesday, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) issued a line-item veto to increase taxpayer funding of K-12 public schools by $325 per student each year until 2425.

Kamala Harris, whose net approval rating was recently found to be the worst for a vice president in NBC News polling history, has elicited a new wave of criticism and mockery with her latest so-called "word salad."

The vice president joined Sunny Hostin, co-host of ABC's "The View," and pro-abortion activist Monica Simpson on Friday to discuss race-specific "reproductive health" at the 2023 Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans.

After touting the forum as the "epicenter of black culture," Simpson asked Harris how important she reckoned culture to be.

Harris appeared keen to first define the term, stating, "Well, I think culture is — it is a reflection of our moment in our time, right? And — and present culture is the way we express how we're feeling about the moment."

"And — and we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment that is a reflection of joy, because every — you know, it comes in the morning," continued Harris. "We have to find ways to also express the way we feel about the moment in terms of just having language and a connection to how people are experiencing life. And I think about it in that way, too."

Merriam-Webster defines "culture" thusly: "The customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of a racial, religious, or social group"; or "the integrated pattern of human knowledge, belief, and behavior that depends upon the capacity for learning and transmitting knowledge to succeeding generations."

The official Twitter account for the Virginia GOP reacted to Harris' answer, writing, "Kamala Harris is that kid in your freshman English class who forgot about the assignment until the night before it was due and is desperate to meet the word count." :laugh3:

Well, that is good news.

The last person who helped defend subway passengers from a black lunatic got charged with murder so no wonder everyone just runs away and lets another man get stabbed to death.

The campaign of former President Donald Trump announced on July 5 that he raised more than $35 million for his White House bid in the second fundraising quarter, nearly double what he raised in the first quarter of the year.

The amount is the most recent indication that Mr. Trump is the dominant frontrunner in the Republican primary and that being indicted twice—in New York and Florida—has only strengthened his standing among his most ardent supporters.

The average donation to Mr. Trump's 2024 campaign has reached $34, the campaign said as evidence of his grassroots support.

Former secret service agent Dan Bongino is claiming that the only explanation for the presence of cocaine in the White House is that President Joe Biden or his family members brought it inside.

The White House is an 18-acre complex surrounded by magnetometers and checkpoints, Mr. Bongino said in a recent Rumble video, adding that there were only specific ways into the White House, and all of them go through the checkpoints. "Whether it (cocaine) was found in the Lincoln bedroom or in the diplomatic reception room, it doesn't matter. Somebody had to bypass the security magnetometer checkpoint to get that in there."

"The 18-acre complex is like a ring surrounding the whole thing. The only way to get in is to go through one of the checkpoints," he pointed out. There could be "no one" who could have just gotten through the checkpoint and brought cocaine in. "It's someone who would have bypassed the checkpoints."

"Well, who bypasses the checkpoints? The secret service with the protectees; Biden; the Biden family members; Jill Biden ... The secret service didn't have cocaine on them. So, it had to be one of the protectees. There's no other explanation."

"Probably one of the family members was likely driven in by the secret service who had it on him, found it, and just left it in the White House ... Sad but true, that is what's most likely what happened." No one else could have gotten into the 18-acre complex with cocaine on them, concluded Mr. Bongino.

Ryan Fournier, executive director of the political organization Radical Alert, seconded Mr. Bongino's take in a July 6 tweet. "Dan Bongino is 100 percent right."

I rarely watch Toronto's msm news, but I made a point of it because of this story on the TTC that was posted here. And big surprise, it was barely mentioned.

I have to say the US police should be doing this.  Antifa and BLM were able to crowd, intimidate, and trying to resist arrest with these sorts of tactics but the French police easily shut them down by putting the rioters on their asses.
