Robert F. Kennedy Jr. quietly changed his policy on race-based reparations — deleting his initial stance from his campaign website — after backlash ensued following reporting by The Post.

The 69-year-old White House hopeful had first stated on his campaign site that he planned to "rebuild black infrastructure" by issuing "direct redress payments or tax credits" to "victims of Jim Crow and other victims of persecution."

Internet users from the right and left expressed outrage over his reparations policies after The Post reported on his stance, racking up over 5 million views on X.

Those on the right said Kennedy had just lost all support from the GOP, while those on the left said he didn't go far enough.

Kennedy's campaign website now reads that he would make federal dollars available to "devastated communities across the country, not just black."
One day after The Post's reporting, Kennedy's campaign quietly edited his website to expand his policies to "devastated communities across the country."

"Targeted Community Repair will be available to devastated communities across the country, not just Black," the site now reads.

He's been a shitshow since his announcement.
That's what happens when you base your entire campaign on pandering to whomever is hosting your speech and trying to establish a cult of personality instead of, you know, having well-defined policies and consistent principles.

The only stance of his that's rock solid is the one on Israel and it sucks.

exas is poised to enable local police to do what the Biden administration has until recently appeared reluctant or unwilling to do: send illegal aliens packing.

The Texas legislature passed Republican state Rep. David Spiller's House Bill 4 in an 83-63 vote early Thursday morning. If harmonized with a similar bill recently passed by the state Senate and ratified by Gov. Greg Abbott, HB4 would enable police to arrest and oust illegal aliens.

In addition to making illegal entry into the Lone Star State a class B misdemeanor, the bill would allow foreign nationals who refuse to leave the country to be charged with a second-degree felony, which carries prison time of up to 20 years.

He had been consistent on not supporting the proxy war on Russia.

I'm curious about something.  There seems to be a lot of copy/pasting of articles on this site, and not to say that people here don't have an original thought, but I know these aren't those.  It would be beneficial, not to mention transparent if you and Herman among others would take the extra millisecond to drop the link to the article or at least cite the source that we're supposed to believe is unbiased.. though I know a lot of this stuff comes from right wing sources, I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

I remember seeing a lot of stuff from one poster whose name escapes me but ended their C/P with links to the Epoch Times.  Now I may not agree with the slant of the site in question, but it was nice to know who was talking.

And it's not even entirely or even mostly for my benefit, since I barely read the one-sided politics here, however I think you'll agree that all sources are not equal.

Just a little suggestion.

I don't trust any of his positions except his unquestioning support of Israel's genocide of the Palestinians.

That one's so out-of-touch and egregious it must be how he really feels.

Otherwise I don't doubt he'd do what all duopoly politicians do... say one thing until the day after the votes have been counted and then fall in line with the establishment once they're in office. Until five minutes ago he was very much a creature of by and for the democrat party. That kind of stink doesn't wash off just because you put an 'I' next to your name instead of a 'D'.

As long as it's not crap from the NYT, Wapo, CNN, MSNBC, BBC, ABC, NPR, VOA, CBC, SBS, Oz ABC...et cetera, which is almost always guaranteed to be propaganda-ish establishment talking point shit for unflinching retards to ingest.
Blahhhhhh...

I remember posters used to post links. I guess people are getting lazy with age.

I fell out of the habit quite a while ago. I suppose I should get back into posting links.

Just remember folks, "Back and to the left" was the best move any Kennedy ever made for America!!!!!

Newly minted House Speaker Mike Johnson said Joe Biden lied about his involvement in his family's business affairs and engaged in a coverup, with the Louisiana Republican vowing that the impeachment inquiry into the president would continue as he now wields the power of the gavel. :good:

The campaign to use the U.S. Constitution's "insurrection" clause to bar former President Donald Trump from running for the White House again enters a new phase this week as hearings begin in two states on lawsuits that might end up reaching the U.S. Supreme Court.
