...which table do you like better?  And why?

The top one.

Although it kinda looks like a bench.

Bottom is just too square for me.
My happiness is all of your misery. I put good dick all in my kidneys.

I would say

For strict adherence to modern decor

ensure it seats at least 12, costs more than two cars combined and is wedged snugly into a room not much bigger than a standard size wash room

Berry Sweet

Everything is the same today...all the furnature is similar....

I just want something that sits 4 people max...its actually kinda hard to find anything.. everything is so big...I want on the smaller side... I already have a nice wooden bench to use on one side and when I find the right chairs, I will buy two.

What kind of tables do you like?  Post a pic.

Frood

I prefer this table.

It fits in an under canopy table holder (on gas struts) in my vehicle and easily seats 4 people.

I like it because it's portable, VERY solid, and I can put it away when not in use.

I got it for next to nothing because it was flood submerged (under 40-50 feet of water for days) and the measurement was almost perfect. It would have cost me 400-500 bucks to get a similar one custom made that fit in perfectly for the table holder.

As you may well can tell, I don't give a fuck about domestic furnishings.... just utility function.

It's all fine buying shit for a domestic home until shit happens and there's too much shit to move away from a shit happening.

My second favourite table system is two metal sawhorse fittings made for 2x4 lengths of wood and an old solid wood door sanded back and shellacking in a pleasing colour.

But failing all that, and if everything is lost in a flood or a fire, the tailgate of a truck is the best table.
Blahhhhhh...

Berry Sweet

I already have a foldable table...I like the one you posted...mine is covered in paint tho....I haven't had an actual dining table in years and I want one...I do want something solid and nice for dinners, card games/puzzles, a deskish area for laptop to do some work or an art project.

Eventually, I'm going to put a cat maze on the wall in that area...my kitties will love it!

🎶  Kitties are so nice

Kitties are so nice

Get them down

Spin them round

Tickle their bellies twice

I really like the farmhouse style tables that use benches and chairs.  The pics I found are bigger tables but you can get these smaller.  I have a friend that makes these and sells them so when I'm ready for a dining table we are giving her our business.

It wont seat 12 and it's not gonna cost our last two cars combined but itll have to do!

Or maybe like one of those smaller breakfast nook tables?

 This is adorable

i'm partial to the top one.... its reminiscent of the picnic tables in the park that my grandparents took me to....

Blazor

I like the top one too. Reminds me of something you would see in a log cabin.
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

Plus, the room isn't small enough to get the full effect of a sloped to a 45 degree angle wedged right there in the middle of the room

Harry Potter.

Frood

People spend their money on the weirdest of things.

The table in my dining area back home was picked up from a garage sale in 1996 for 12 bucks. It was a hard wood table top from another table screwed into a turned lathe base/frame.

Years later I painted the legs and frame in a modest green hue, but kept the lacquered top as is.

It serves its function and is aesthetically acceptable.

And all the savings put a lot of tasty barbecued meats and seafoods on it without breaking the bank.
Blahhhhhh...

I have a normal dining table.. 6 chairs..

You can add two chairs at each end and then its 8.

It cost around 2000 bucks.

I hate Ikea crap because they are made out of some Amazonian tree or compressed paper.

They are very light for their size.

Maybe they use saw-dust&glue and then compress it with a hydraulic press.
