Up until now, you could easily find high octane gas here that was ethanol free.  Not any more.  Government is forcing all grades to contain ethanol now.

I liked to run the ethanol free stuff in my outdoor power equipment.  Oh well, it is what it is...

They're trying to degrade the longevity of internal combustion motors.

They hate us masses and think we're scum.
Blahhhhhh...

Folks aint going to be able to make any choices about how they get around in the not so distant future in Canada.

We'll all simply cease to get around... love your 15 minute cities or die.

I wiould rather die on my land than exist in a city.

As Frood said that fuel is pretty bad for engines, decreases gas mileage, and actually creates more GHG as it takes more energy to produce then you get out of it by burning it.  At least if it is made from corn.

You have the heat pump, use it.

This summer hasnt been that warm...

Either that or I'm getting used to heat.

We had over 30 Celsius in 2021 and it was really uncomfortable.

This is a British weather...

The other side of that is when it gets to 26C in the summer and young English people rip their clothes off in the park as their elderly family members cook like sausages in their homes and then promptly require a body bag...

It's called a "heat wave" on the BBC...  :oeudC:

Most of North America is having a hotter than normal summer.

All auto engines and fuel systems made for the last 20 years run fine on E-10 and in many cases even on E-85. Alcohol attracts moisture so a sealed system is imperative.

My 2002 Camaro was ran for more than 50K miles on E-85. No harm to the motor whatsoever.

Fuel systems not made for alcohol will see degradation of hoses and other rubber parts.

I don't mind running it so much in my truck, but I like the ethanol free stuff for my outdoor power equipment, which can sit depending on season.  I do stabilize it, but still...
