I remember the mid to late 80's as being the start of power grabs by authoritarians. It was a good decade, mostly, but it set the stage for the 90's, which led to 2001, and we've all been fucked ever since.

There is no problem a government can cause that they won't immediately offer a remedy for.

Wars on drugs, poverty, terror, diseases... all self made wars done by elitist pricks who want most of us dead or in a manageable population of feudal servants.

So fuck Government. Fuck authorities. And fuck anybody who takes a pay check from them to "just following ordes".
