former married high school teacher who was convicted of having sex with an underage student will reportedly not face any jail time. The victim's mother has claimed that the former teacher's "predatory actions" stripped her son of his dreams, according to the Spokesman-Review.

McKenna Kindred, 25, who was previously an educator at Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley, Washington, pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree sexual misconduct with a minor and communication with a minor for immoral purposes.

The teacher's illegal relationship with the 17-year-old student began in June 2022, when the student discovered Kindred's Instagram account. The two began messaging each other shortly after.

The communication became serious enough that Kindred and the student reportedly had sex inside her home while her husband was away on a hunting trip, according to the New York Post.

A Wisconsin teacher was arrested this week over allegations that she engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a 5th-grade student.

Police arrested 24-year-old Madison Bergmann, a teacher at River Crest Elementary in Hudson, Wisconsin, on Wednesday after receiving information "regarding inappropriate conduct between a current teacher and a 5th grade student," according to WCCO-TV.

That information came from the 11-year-old student's parents, who had discovered evidence of the inappropriate relationship from text messages between their son and Bergmann. Police said the text messages included details about the alleged relationship, which included "kissing, touching, and making out."

Sandy Carazas-Pinez was accused last year of engaging in multiple sexual acts in her car with a 16-year-old boy. The New York City public teacher was fired from her job. Carazas-Pinez, 34, had been a biology teacher at the Biondi School in Yonkers, New York.
