How can women be church pastors?

But, the pastor is a woman..



How can any church justify that when the bible speaks so clearly against it.

If you take it literally then you as a woman aren't even supposed to say boo in church. You can't say hello to a fellow parishioner or converse with your family. You are to keep silent and defer all things to your husband like a dutiful little piece of proper Christian property.

It might be in Paul's best interest to make others believe his is the word of God, rather than the word of Paul (delivered through letters he addressed to his pal, Tim).



Quoting a letter written by Paul as a justification that Paul's word is inspired by God is question-begging, to say the least.



Not here to belittle your faith, Fash. Just one of those things that strikes me about "Pauline Christianity."

well Fash..the obvious answer is they can't....but in today's society churches rarely follow their founding document or it's principles...kinda makes you wonder why people want to go...if they can't or won't follow the rules.......there are lots of other social clubs like the United Church they could join......always been a puzzlement to me........and yes all scripture is god breathed and imprinted...if you believe that is...cheers

I already addressed it too..



The bible makes it clear that all scripture is divinely inspired..



If one believes Paul was speaking for himself and not our God then one is not a Christian and that is nobody's business, but their own..



The bible is not an all you can eat buffet where you can pick and choose what you like.

Ill have a new addition in December to my family, my niece is having a little girl.

I am already spoiling it, and it has a full room of stuff to start off with.

New crib, dresser, clothing, and baby supplies.

I even got a self sealing diaper disposal can  

See my kids are any in the family, i try to help where I can. :) the way it should be i believe.
