My husband's company provides a specialty service on drilling rigs working all over the world..



Something to do with the top drive part of a rig, but I don't understand it..



What he has told me is that Canada has some of the safest drilling rig requirements in the world..



He has worked in countries where if a rig hand loses a finger they are fired or if they are killed they are quickly replaced..



The unsafe conditions continue without an investigation and a brand new rig worker who has received no training is brought in immediately to replace the dead employee..



Unlike Canada, workers have few rights..



I too appreciate the sacrifices my husband has made to keep a roof over our heads and food on our table..



He has worked in some very inhospitable places around the world for us and this weekend as we give thanks, this will not be forgotten.
