A .338 Lapua is a crazy big round. Its not something the average schmoe shoots because a box of 20 costs $100 ish and the recoil is punishing. Its the shit tho for reaching out and stopping ANYTHING! Only a .50 is bigger amongst common calibers.

I enjoyed the part about optic magnification. My 300 Win Mag has a 5-20X Nightforce Scope and I wish I had a bit more dial on it. I chose to spend $1200 instead of $3000 to get 35X. With the assassin laying prone, I think I could have made a similar shot but I wouldnt bet anyones life on it. Even a police sniper is shitloads better than I'll ever be. 300 Win Mag is hard hitting as well. After about 20 rounds, I'm feeling it in my shoulder the next day.
