I have always thought it is a good movie..



But because of its utter failure, Hollywood was hesitant of making another pirate movie..

Just watched a movie called "Mortal Engines". Should have been called "Awful Engines".



The new Hollywood formula for sci-fi fantasy movies; the central characters are unknown young adults. Star Wars, Hunger Games, Valerian, X-Men and so on. Make these kids heroes. Follow the same plot...unlikely meeting, bonding, villain catches them, they escape, they somehow prevail.
