In two new interviews, nurse Therese Serignese and Carla Ferrigno, wife of the bodybuilder/actor, detailed alleged sexual assaults made by Bill Cosby that happened years ago.

How can any self-respecting female settle out of court for this? If he did this to me, settling out of court would not even be an issue. I don't want anything from him. I want justice. I also won't wait years before revealing his ugly self. Those women were wrong to wait years to report it. Okay, so some of them said something but it was not taken seriously. They did not pursue it. They treated it with half-ass importance.

It can be tough for a woman just to report a sexual assault, let alone have the ugliness of it stretched out for months or years. From what I've read Bill Cosby has some real hard-ass lawyers. That wouldn't be a surprise. They likely told the accusers they would make things a nightmare for them. Dragging things out in court, digging into their personal life, big money countersuits... when you're fighting against someone so wealthy and powerful, sometimes a settlement is all you can get. Often victims aren't taken seriously until others speak out.



Many of these accusers don't need any money and all certainly don't need the hassle. They're not all lying for no reason. I believe them.
