A U.S. F-15E fighter jet was downed over Iran Friday, and one crew member from the plane was later rescued by American forces, U.S. officials confirmed to CBS News.

The F-15E is flown by a two-member crew and a search and rescue effort is ongoing, sources said.

That downed pilot is being hunted by Iranian special forces, militants, cops etc.
The Iranian government has offered a reward for his capture so  civilians are going after him as well.

He has a gau-5a assault rifle which was packed under the seat.

Its a survival rifle for downed aircrews.

The US airforce is also looking for him.

Graphite clings to all the insulators and basically short circuits the transmission lines rather than destroying them. Its a pain in the ass to clean up.
