When artists step out of their expected grooves the music can be surprisingly good.

Rina Sawayama almost exclusively does bubblegum pop music but her song 'STFU' slaps soooo hard.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers while not really something I listen to has had tremendous success incorporating funk, rap, and rock.
