Here are the results a survey among members of the Canadian Taxpayer's Federation(I am a member).

We were asked how Canada should respond to Trump's unstable tariff actions.

Here are highlights of the survey:

75 per cent said the best way to help Canada is to cut taxes and red tape
95 per cent said it's important to scrap the carbon tax
82 per cent said they're worried retaliatory tariffs could make things worse for Canadians
94 per cent said prices will increase because of tariffs

Two things immediately jump out at me: Canadians know we need to make our economy more competitive, and Canadians can't afford governments making life more expensive.

Liberal leadership front runner Mark Carney says he wants to bring in carbon tariffs. He wants to impose carbon taxes on you when you buy stuff that's made in other countries.

How can we trust Mark Carney when he moved his headquarters - and Canadian jobs - to the United States? He doesn't have the best interest of Canadians at heart. We need a Prime Minister who doesn't have a financial stake in the United States and who will put our hard-working Canadian families first.

Not only did he move Brookfield but Brookfield is connected to Snc Lavalin. Scandal number 1 . Wonder who's really behind the many scandals that screwed taxpayers out of our money. Now he wants more connection to our money by becoming pm. Brookfield is the biggest dodge of taxes.

Same anti-oil, mass immigration agenda. Same cozy relationship with global elites. Same disastrous policies that would kill our jobs and crush health care. The only difference? Carney might be even worse.

He was one of the architects of the net zero banking alliance. He spent years pressuring banks to cut off funding for Canadian oil and gas, working with global elites to strangle Alberta and Saskatchewan's economies.

Now he's stepping in to finish the job Trudeau started. And Eastern Canadians will let that happen.
