Donald Trump unveiled a new deal to drastically reform the pharmaceutical industry and reduce drug prices for consumers.

Trump announced that Pfizer would be heavily discounting some of its "most popular medications" and that all new medications introduced in the U.S. markets would be sold at the "reduced Most Favored Nation cost." Trump also revealed that these discounted drugs will be available for purchase on a federally operated "TrumpRx" direct-to-consumer website.

"It's going to have a huge impact on bringing Medicaid costs down, like nothing else. ... Especially, low-income Americans will be helped so greatly," Trump said in the Oval Office Tuesday.

"This is a consequential moment for our country," press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a post on X. "Drug prices WILL be lower for everyday Americans, thanks to the negotiating prowess and determination of President Donald J. Trump. Democrats have been wanting to do this for decades. The Trump Administration has delivered."

Since the topic drifted to trans issues.

If elected mayor, Zohran Mamdani vowed to establish an office for "LGBTQIA+ affairs" and invest $65 million in "gender-affirming care."

Operation Midway Blitz, the immigration enforcement surge underway in Chicago since the beginning of September, continued with a large show of force targeting gang members. Tensions are running high among different leaders as Trump continues to execute on his deportation mandate.

On Tuesday, federal agents descended on a building in Chicago in a raid targeting illegal aliens, some with suspected ties to Tren de Aragua. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents surrounded a building, with some agents rappelling down from Black Hawk helicopters.

Nearly 300 federal agents from FBI, Border Patrol, ICE, and the ATF assisted in the operation in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood. Newsweek reported that roughly 30 illegal aliens were detained, some with suspected Tren de Aragua affiliation.

President Trump designated Tren de Aragua as a foreign terrorist organization at the beginning of his second term.

Donald Trump has once again trolled Democrats for giving the administration the perfect opportunity to further implement the MAGA mandate.

As the federal government enters its second day of the shutdown, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Thursday that layoffs will likely be in the thousands. This estimate comes as Trump and Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought meet to identify which "Democrat Agencies" should be cut. :s_laugh:

Your president has the backs of the working class. :good:

Donald Trump announced earlier this week his effort aimed at lowering drug costs, which includes the creation of a "TrumpRx" website, where Americans can buy medicine at a discount — and somehow got Pfizer to agree to join him.

"The United States is done subsidizing the health care of the rest of the world," Trump said. "By taking this bold step, we're ending the era of global price gouging at the expense of American families."

Surprisingly, Pfizer is the first pharmaceutical company to comply with Trump's demands, which include selling drugs to Medicaid and setting prices of new drugs at "Most-Favored Nation" levels, which is the lowest price available in other countries.

Donald Trump the peace broker makes the world safer again.

The Hamas terror group has agreed to a deal negotiated by President Donald Trump to release all of the remaining hostages in captivity from the heinous attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

The president has been trying to secure peace in the Gaza Strip after Israel responded to the attack with military operations intended to target and dispose of Hamas terrorists.

Donald Trump early Sunday sent 300 federalized National Guard troops from California to Portland, Oregon.

The Trump administration's reported move to mobilize California National Guard members in Portland comes after a federal judge on Saturday blocked Trump's attempt to mobilize 200 Oregon National Guard members in Portland, the Times said.

Israel and Hamas agreed to the first phase of Donald Trump's plan to end the two-year war in Gaza. The US president said all 48 remaining hostages — 20 of whom are believed to be alive — would be released "very soon". Under the terms of his 20-point peace plan, Israel would be expected to release almost 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, pull back its troops from the front lines and allow a surge of aid into the besieged Gaza Strip.

The agreement marks a significant breakthrough in Trump's renewed push to end the conflict. What is yet unclear is whether the initial phase will lead to a broader agreement on the future of Gaza, let alone a lasting peace. Even if Trump's plan is adopted in full and a ceasefire holds, it will take decades and tens of billions of dollars to rebuild Gaza.

Putting his doubters to shame once again, President Donald Trump has successfully brokered a peace in Gaza. The deal, which the Israeli government will vote on Thursday, was signed just days before the announcement of this year's coveted Novel Peace Prize.
