The Department of Homeland Security has announced a new initiative to help solve the immigration crisis, which would give undocumented immigrants a $1,000 stipend if they choose to self-deport from the United States.

The CBP Home App was originally the CBP One App, which under the Biden administration helped illegal immigrants find their way into the United States. Now, under Trump, it's helping them find their way out.

This is going to save taxpayers significantly, because it would cost $4,500 per person, compared to over $17,000 that the States are spending for arrest, detention, and then, of course, the forced removal.

And considering $4,500 is much less than what it costs for an illegal immigrant to live in the United States indefinitely.

The United States and the United Kingdom have agreed to increase market access for American exports while easing some tariffs for Britons, President Donald Trump announced Thursday in the first official trade agreement since imposing global tariffs.

In a brief morning press conference, Trump, from the Oval Office, and Prime Minister Keir Starmer, via telephone, said the U.K. would reduce "red tape," streamlining U.S. exports such as beef, ethanol and other products.

In return, the U.S. will ease the 25 percent tariff on vehicles to 10 percent for 100,000 vehicles and eliminate steel tariffs.

"It's so good for both countries and we'll also receive new market access for American chemicals, machinery and many other industrial products that weren't allowed and they'll end up getting products that they'll be able to price, and they like them better," Trump said on Thursday.

Ed Martin, the incoming Department of Justice pardon attorney and director of the DOJ's Weaponization Working Group, announced Tuesday that he will review the rash of questionable "autopen" pardons issued in the final days of the Biden White House, noting that they "need some scrutiny."

"They need scrutiny because we want pardons to matter, and to be accepted, and to be something that's used correctly. So I do think we're going to take a hard look at how they went and what they did," Martin told reporters.

The Justice Department's probe could spell trouble for controversial Biden pardonees such as Anthony Fauci, retired Gen. Mark Milley, members of the Biden clan, and former members of the House Jan. 6 select committee — including Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), and Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), whom President Donald Trump and other Republicans have faulted for various alleged crimes and improprieties.

While previously serving as Trump's most senior uniformed adviser, Milley called his communist Chinese counterpart, communist Gen. Li Zuocheng, on two occasions — four days before the 2020 election and on Jan. 8, 2021 — to reassure Zuocheng that he would provide him with actionable warnings should Trump decide to attack. Milley received a pardon just hours before former President Joe Biden left office.
