The Supreme Court gives Donald Trump another big win.

The U.S. Supreme Court said President Donald Trump's administration can proceed with plans to lay off some 1,400 employees at the Department of Education—marking another win for the White House from the conservative-leaning high court.

A majority of the justices lifted a lower-court ruling that had indefinitely paused the administration's plan. Liberal Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan dissented.

What "legal" reasoning did the libs on the court think was justified to keep the staff in the department?  Their feelings would be hurt if they were laid off?  They would wind up on the streets and turn to crime?  God, they can be stupid at all times.

Congress passed the first rescissions package in over two decades, giving Trump a major win and cutting off liberal propaganda outfits. This is fantastic. Don't stop here. There is plenty of waste to cut.

Recession Odds Collapse from 70 Percent to 19 Percent, Lowest Ever Recorded on Polymarket

The odds of a U.S. recession have fallen to their lowest level ever recorded on Polymarket, dropping from 70 percent in late April to just 19 percent this week.

The shift follows weeks of economic data indicating continued strength in consumer activity. According to Breitbart Business Digest, "Personal consumption expenditures rose 1.8 percent in the first quarter, beating forecasts for 1.2 percent. Durable goods, services, and nondurables all contributed." Additionally, rising consumer spending, along with stable inflation and real income gains, pointed to underlying momentum in the economy despite the first-quarter GDP contraction.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said in March he did not expect a recession, attributing this to $1.3 trillion in new investment and President Trump's tariff policy. "There's going to be no recession in America," Lutnick stated. "You're going to see over the next two years the greatest set of growth coming from America as Americans."

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent expressed a similar view in May, telling Congress that the initial 0.3 percent GDP contraction may be revised upward. "There is nothing in the data that shows that we are in a recession," Bessent remarked, citing a detailed analysis and  stronger-than-expected job growth.

Once again the president has proven his naysayers wrong. Trump's policies have prevented a recession.

Another stupid Obama era rule has been erased.

Lawn and car guys are celebrating after Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin's latest push for deregulation.

Zeldin shared a letter Thursday encouraging manufacturers to "produce cans that best meet consumer needs," including gas cans "with vents to facilitate fast and smooth fuel flow." This push comes in response to regulations previously implemented by former President Barack Obama in 2009 that removed vents in gas cans in order to reduce vapor emissions.

The vents originally prevented a vacuum from forming inside the gas can, allowing it to pour gasoline smoothly. Since the regulation was rolled out, consumers and retailers have expressed frustration with the new design, which often causes gasoline to spill.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order meant to address the homelessness crisis in America on Thursday.

The order described the problem plaguing cities and then set out a plan to ease the crisis. The order said that under former President Joe Biden, the crisis had reached a historic rate of 274,000 people sleeping on the street on an average night.

"My Administration will take a new approach focused on protecting public safety," the order reads.

The federal government will provide funding in order to prioritize "shifting homeless individuals into long-term institutional settings for humane treatment through the appropriate use of civil commitment."

The order criticized billions of dollars of government funding that was spent on homelessness but did not tackle the root causes of the crisis.

"The overwhelming majority of these individuals are addicted to drugs, have a mental health disorder, or both," it reads.

The order authorized U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to seek remedies to allow local governments to relocate homeless people from tents and other public areas into rehabilitation, treatment, and other facilities.

The order also ensures that federal spending isn't wasted on programs that fund drug injection sites or illicit drug use.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt released a statement to Newsweek about the order.

"By removing vagrant criminals from our streets and redirecting resources toward substance abuse programs, the Trump administration will ensure that Americans feel safe in their own communities and that individuals suffering from addiction or mental health struggles are able to get the help they need," she said.
