My dividends are a problem Senile Joe.

I have to constantly be thinking about where to invest them.  Over $2000 from Cogeco today.  I blink and I have another $14,000 to invest.

That is one nice thing about precious metals.  I just buy them and sit on them.

If I had your money, I'd be trading that C8-poors in for a C8-ZR1!

Buy and hold is basic investing.

Jo Jo never invested a dollar until he met me and I started giving him an allowance. But, it's far too late to start investing at Jo Jo's advanced age.

The only thing he should be investing in at his age are his own funeral arrangements. But, that financial obligation will also fall on me.

Well, you probably do have as much money as me....and you are much more of a car enthusiast than me.  The Stingray is enough for me to get in trouble without killing myself!

I was in Florida last week and a guy in a cabin close to us had a ZL1 Camaro.  I was going to ask him if he is known as "Lokmar" online....

I have $100,000 to deploy as an initial investment & another $100,000 ready to be deployed later T he Prowler

However given the shaky & uncertain investment forecasts I'm looking for a better time to invest

According to the Benner Cycle we are due for a correction or at very least a mild downturn by 2027 at latest. But it could arrive in 2025 or 2026.

I feel there's no sense on throwing money at bad, Lex.

Just play the waiting game eh.

Given the recent rise in gold, my gold stash is worth more than your Corvette now, Lex T he Prowler.

My house is worth way more than my Corvette.

And my investments are worth way way more than my Corvette.

And neither can go 0-100 kph in under 3 seconds.

I could easily buy your car Lex. But that'd be such a bore & a waste of money. Why for that amount you could get you private pilots license a small plane & a decent mid sized car like a Lexus or Camry. Even have $10-20,000 spendin money left over eh Lex

The only car you could afford is made by Matchbox. Even then you would need an advance on your allowance from Thiel.

So could a lot of people.

You do you, Senile Joe.

I will do what I like.  And kinda smile and laugh when I tell you about it because I know it bothers you for some reason.  Hahaha!!!!

Yeah, people are free to spend their money on what they want.

I think it would be fun to fly, but I have a bunch of other interests too.  There is only so much time in the day.

I have a lot more "spending money" than that, Senile Joe.  As I expect a number of other people here do too.

Your problem is that a lack of money has always been your greatest limiting factor; so you assume it is the limiting factor for other people.

My challenge is to prioritize my activities and fit what I feel is best into my schedule.

Now I must go, Senile Joe.  I am off to walk dogs at The Shelter.  An activity that brings me great pleasure and costs me zero dollars.
