The Liberals have ZERO PLANS to build up our energy infrastructure.
Just another thing Conman Carney lied about.

DKG

He proposed half a TRILLION dollars in big government spending—with NO budget plan.

He wants to spend more of YOUR money but doesn't want to tell you how.

Mark Carney has now officially proven he will be MORE EXPENSIVE than Trudeau. This is bad news.

Mr Trump first announced tariffs against Canada on November 25. Monsieur Trudeau did not try to reach a deal to avert them.

Mr Carney has not made a serious effort like the Premier of Alberta did to stop the tariffs.

Mr Pollivere promised to sit through the entire summer to reach a deal to stop the tariffs. Mr Carney is going on vacation June 20 until the fall.

Elbows down Canadians.

Carney is going to entrench CBC funding instead of it being part of the budget. That means the Liberal Party's propaganda machine can never be defunded even if the Liberals lose an election.

Funding for the legacy media too could be part of his plan.

Buying the media with our money.

Buying something worthless as it turns out. You are aware of course that once upon a time these industries more or less paid for themselves. Lately they haven't been doing so great, younger generations don't really bother with newspapers, radio and television, that even places like YouTube are being forsaken as the sources for infortainment people of our generation fool ourselves into thinking are "authoritative sources", no?

I know the kneejerk reaction here is to say "well the kids are just misinformed" and "the kids should pay more attention". The truth is that they don't... and frankly I don't blame them. Those lumbering leviathans cost shitloads and exist only for a bunch of old fucks to tell us how to think. I know when I was younger, I would defer more to the messaging from my peer group than I would from some old cunt, it's the one constant that we all share.

So propping up the CBC (and other arms of dinosaur media) is dumb and wasteful, not simply on the libtards part but also on the more conservative side of the aisle. Like injecting funds into propping up the 78 rpm manufacturing industry, it is an exercise in diminishing returns. The old fuckers that buy into it are dying out, the new fuckers aren't gonna magically jump on the bandwagon out of a sense of nostalgia for a time that was dying or outright dead before they filled their first diaper with creamy nappy batter. Propaganda doesn't work if nobody bothers to watch it and a quick peek at the Nielsen ratings will tell you all you need to know about the cluelessness and desperation being enjoyed by the old farts as they scramble for that diminishing market.

While utterly failing to inculcate the kinds of values in the Gen Z'ers amd Gen Alphas who, like it or lump it, will be the ones changing our Depends when we get to be too old and grey to manage it for ourselves.

He stated he wanted to increase funding for the CBC during the election. He evaded questions about funding the media which means that continues.

Nobody should be surprised by this. Nobody at all.

Mr Harper didn't sell the CBC when he had a majority government.
