Christmas 2016 I was not in the mood for Christmas and I still couldn't get my heart into the things I used to do this year either..



Maybe I'll do it again next Christmas..



With the coloured tinfoil, my chocolate moulds were more appealing to the eye than what I saw in stores.

You being sick didnt help this year either. I feel ya though, I couldnt get into the spirit this year either.

I'm cooking a pork roast today. Comes complete with baby red potatoes cooked around it. Asparagus, and mushrooms in butter.



Strawberry shortcake for dessert. Washed down with a Chardonnay.

Sounds good Velvet! I been craving some pot roast too.



Last night was a hodge podge. First was some spinach artichoke dip with nacho chips. Then grilled 2lbs of shrimp (was 10 degrees last night lol), most were buttered with Cajun season, the others I added some sweet and sour like sauce and coconut. Had veggie egg rolls with it. Then later I heated up a pizza that had ranch, chicken, bacon, and tomatoes, was good. Tonight having steak and taters.

Not really, the chips and dip were an appetizer around 10 pm, dinner was done right after the ball dropped at midnight, we had one pound of shrimp and 1 egg roll a piece. Ate the pizza around 4 am, didnt eat all of it.
