My brother and his wife live in rural Manitoba..



I don't care about their poor roads, brain drains or high taxes when we visit..

Me, I just get bad bouts of depression that just come on, it's a nuisance.

I can feel alright, and all at once it hits me, and I just feel like whats the point you know.

Thanks RW, I do appreciate it.

Having stuff to do helps that I can make people happy, the feel of accomplishment.

It's hard though since I am injured, and not able to do some stuff.

Family caring helps, but I hate to put my feelings out to them.

I am sure being injured is doing nothing to improve your mood.  It helps to have an outlet like this to get some things off your chest :)

I always loved to work, it hit me hard not being able to do it anymore.

I do stuff around here, but it's not the same really.

Maybe it's the greedy part of me that's depressed. Really I just need something I can keep m mind busy, and off bad stuff likely like most people.

You men folk really identify your self worth with work so I understand your need to keep busy.  I'm in much the same boat but the fatigue stops me from trying to keep busy.

I get fatigue from the pain a lot, it's hard to rest also. I have some pain meds, but rather not take them unless really bad.

The pills make you just as tired as the pain I think.
