Don't tell that to TYEE, Tides, George Soros, Warren Buffet, CN, OPEC and any other company/organization that has a vested economic interest in crude production/transportation in Canada.

Tar sands oil is very corrosive. That's correct. It's why it has to be diluted to make it less corrosive.



But if dilbit isn't very corrosive, why has there been over 800 Enbridge pipeline oil spills in the last ten years? Why did an Enbridge pipeline rupture and spill over 1,000,000 gallons into the Kalamazoo River?

homy homy homy......Bitumen or heavy oil is diluted for only one reason.....it makes it easier to pump down the pipeline.....as Bitumen it is too thick and gooey and mucks up the system...so now you have another oil sand factoid in your data base///need more??
