I grew up in one of the most multicultural cities in the world. Muslims lived on my street, went to my high school, played in the same baseball and hockey leagues and we hung out. Their religion was not once an issue. It was a private matter and they never imposed it on anybody.

I'm sure most "muslims" are just folks getting by like the rest of us.  The problem is that as "muslims" they are steeped in a militaristic, quasi-religious ideology that has never undergone a reformation since it was founded in the 6th century by an insane murderous pedophile named Mohammed.  As "muslims," not a single one of them can be trusted not to go full on Jihadi at any time, as we have seen repeatedly all over the world the last few decades.

As we witness today in the UK, when "muslims" reach a critical mass in any given population, they start doing muslim Jihadi things.

Where you grew up, muslims hadn't reached critical mass.  Were you ever to be caught up in Jihad, that muslim kid you were in homeroom with in middle school would happily slit your throat as other muslims around ululate and chant "Allhu Akbar" as they toss your lifeless body aside.

You just can't trust a muslim. Period.

Brother, we have been through this before. You grew up in Toronto which does have a large Muslim population. I lived and worked for far too many years in Islamic lands. The difference is that Toronto and Canada do not have Muslim majorities yet. If they do they will resemble the shitholes I lived and worked in.

Singapore has a large muslime population. They're something like 15-20% here. We don't have Islamic attacks or even demands we kiss the ass of the animals who run Gaza. That is because we placed checks on Islam. It's needed.

Turkey is successful by muslime standards because Ataurk placed limits on Islam. He understood Islam's true nature and he didn't want to jeopardize his country's future by letting them do what they do best and that is take modern nations back to the dark ages.
