And other languages, it's the same definition. Same word, spelled a bit differently, but never implying 'fat'.



I suggest that you two oughta stop being fixated on a narrow cultural interpretation filled with political loaded undertones, and start reading what the actual recognized definition from authoritative sources is. Anyways, neither of you have once shown evidence that ample means 'fat'.  If you have, then it's a subjective interpretation of the word - your definition, certainly not the formal one.

She's fully clothed in accordance with respectable social standards.



Interestingly, she doesn't appear to be 'fat'. She's considered larger than average. But at the same time, she is described as being 'ample' and 'voluptuous'.

Like I said, he's started a thread about women with big tits but he wants us to think he's too much of a gentleman to just call them what they are.

Joe, your Google search of "ample beauty" is more of an illustration of what might also be referred to as "buxom beauty". It was considered rude to directly reference a woman's private parts in mixed company, so they made a way to work around it.





On a related item, did you guys hear about the http://www.vogue.co.uk/news/2015/12/21/french-model-law-bmi-medical-certificate-for-models-in-france">law France passed concerning the health of models who might be too thin?

I'm not sure this is the right way to go about it as a doctor can easily provide said certificates when a model is under weight.



The increase in sample sizes might be a better way to do it as was suggested.  It makes pretty simple to know who is or isn't pushing a low standard.  That doesn't guarantee health though.



The industry is changing within itself and I think the direction they are headed is the right one.

I saw a young woman about two weeks ago at a hotel fitness room that the biggest shoulders I have ever seen on a woman. All muscle too. She looked she should be a linebacker for the Saskatchewan Rough Riders.

It is quite amazing that in this time that we are all living in, the woman you are looking at may have once been a man and vice versa.
