Comparing a little boy praying with Santa to a brainwash child soldier is about the dumbest thing you have ever said and that's saying something.



I swear there are times when you absolutely nauseate me.

An early Xmas gift to me, then.



Rather than attack the player, why not prove me wrong?



If that was a muslim kid of 4, asking his imam for the head of an infidel, how would you feel then?



The American child is asking for salvation for a baby he ahsn't met, clearly and manifestly "programmed" by his handlers to do so. To American values, this is a charming and heartwarming gesture, despite its obvious exploitation.



To a muslim, killing infidels is a part of the survival and protection of their land and way of life. A child praying for the protection of his home by seeking the killing of one that threatens it would be seen as charming and heartwarming.



We are, of course, reviled at that concept, yet it is all a matter of perpsective.

I think the term brainwashing has harsh negative connotations where "influence" might be a better choice.  Kids are influenced by their parents.  That's a fact.  I just don't see how being thoughtful and caring is a negative thing.  If you (Crow) are going to argue that it's influenced by religion, I'm going to have to say "so what?"

 Based on guilt catholic dogma that isn't biblical and is known for sexual abuse.  God made sex.  I was way more twisted sexually by the world than by religion. There is a balance, and teaching kids to think of sex as bad and dirty is bad just wrong oversexualizing them.  You have orgasm because God made the body to have them. You can't go toe to toe with me from some catholic standpoint.  It's not my position. You can try, of course....but I have the only 2 girls in the school who aren't boycrazy or trying to wear make up. Sex is an act of love that's more than physical, despite the secular view that we should rut like pigs as if it's a handshake and advertise our bodies. 12 year old girls don't need padded bras, or socks that say "flirt", or dolls dressed like they are about to do a stage set at the local strip club.

I just don't see anything wrong with books about masturbation or knowing anal sex is okay for consenting adults who take proper pre-cautions or knowing their reproductive options.  I don't give a flying fuck about padded bras, words on socks or dolls that look like strippers.  I care that my kids have an open relationship with me where they can discuss decal issues and they aren't ignorant of their sexual selfs or choices.
