May they both rest in peace. Bernard Shaw was good. I remember him.



I will miss the Queen. She had a warm smile and a twinkle and wonder in her eyes. I will miss her Christmas messages.

I'd preder to sever all ties to the British crown and replace it with a popularly elected head of state. However, that would require passage by parliament, the senate, and all ten provincial legislatures, so that isn't going to happen. The next best thing would be a reduced roll for the monarch and no more official visits to Canada. I don't want Charles coming here talking ignorant horsehit about our oil and gas sector.



Elizabeth and Philip had class. I'm not impressed with their kids and grandkids.
