There was never a military action taken by Washington that Senator McCain was not the head cheerleader for. He had a very overrated political  career.

He never met an islamic  country that he didn't want to bomb

This guy was a piece of work never seen before who did great harm to his own people and was major in seeing that great harm came to to people in several islamic countries ... not to mention destabilizing that part of the world for decades to come.

Today the damage continues and grows in Libya, Afghan, Iraq, and in Syria where he was the instrumental in naively (I hope)  giving Al Q and Al Nusra (extremists as bad as ISIS) aid to continue the killing

And his mad ego continued to the end ... instead of giving up his seat when he could no longer do the most basic duties (including showing up) so that his party could have replaced him with a working soldier ... he refused to give it up .. in essence making it a valuable seat his own party no longer had. That I have never seen before in any party anywhere

He had a lot more influence on US affairs than he should have. It's too bad more GOP and Democrats would not stand up to his warmongering.
