Most people know who Christopher Plummer was, but I can't recall any movies I've seen him in.
Oh he was in so many movies I've enjoyed. He was in Inside Man, The Exception, and a host of others that were fine movies, if you ask me. I will miss his presence in films but he will live on in films.

The iconic versatile actor who first captured me in Sound of Music. He has been in films for decades and never seemed to get tired. He was just recently on the TV series Departure.
His filmography and his work on Broadway and in Television was nothing short of amazing. Ironically probably his best known role... Capt. Von Trapp in The Sound of Music" is the role he most hated...He referred to it as "sentimental", "boring" and "gooey"...
In 2007 I was privileged enough to see him in the revival of "Inherit the Wind" where he played Henry Drummond opposite Brian Dennehy's Mathew Brady. Both were absolutely mesmerizing to watch. And it's very said that both of them are now gone.

Mary Wilson, the longest-reigning original Supreme, has died at 76 years old.
Publicist Jay Schwartz says Wilson died Monday night at her home in Las Vegas and that the cause was not immediately clear.
Wilson, Diana Ross and Florence Ballard made up the first successful configuration of The Supremes. She stayed with the group until it was officially disbanded by Motown in 1977.
The group's first No. 1, million-selling song, "Where Did Our Love Go," was released June 17, 1964.
Motown founder Berry Gordon says he's extremely shocked and saddened to hear of her death. He said the Supremes were "always known as the sweethearts of Motown."

Porn purveyor Larry Flynt, who built Hustler magazine into an adult entertainment empire while championing First Amendment rights, died Wednesday. He was 78. A statement from Flynt's public relations manager said, "He passed quietly in his sleep at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center" with his wife and daughter at his side. Flynt's nephew said Flynt had been in frail health and died of heart failure.
From his beginnings as an Ohio strip club owner to his reign as founder of one of the most explicit adult-oriented magazines, Flynt constantly challenged the establishment and became a target for the religious right and feminist groups.
Flynt scored a surprising U.S. Supreme Court victory over the Reverend Jerry Falwell, who had sued him for libel after a 1983 Hustler alcohol ad suggested Falwell had lost his virginity to his mother in an outhouse.
