Quote from: "Dinky Dianna"If I was a shop owner with brand names I'd have a photo board behind the counter for serial clothes try on and leavers.

If you did that, after a short while you would need a sign....GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE!!

Not necessarily. Besides, there's no profit in doing nothing and letting freeloaders use you.

There would have to be some loyalty or incentive program too.

Calling people freeloaders with a photo wall of shame will put you out of business. Consumers have a lot more options now besides the traditional store.

The photoboard wouldn't be seen by the customers. It would be used by staff to point out serial offenders in order to ask them to leave.

I was going to say, that would be pretty fucking insulting if the public could see it.

I agree Berry, Chinook Centre in Calgary has the bowladrome, a Cineplex and several nice restaurants..

As big retailers like Zellers that have closed or Bay and Sears stores that are likely to close, they could convert them into bowling alleys, cineplexes, paintball, lasertag and so on.

Agreed!  We need a lot more entertainment spaces.

Quote from: "Dinky Dianna"I hope she buys something from those shops once in awhile.

I do and I don't try on clothes all the time..

But, if I buy from their brick and mortar store or their online store, what's the difference?

No difference. If you tried on something but then ordered it from a competitors online store, that wouldn't be cool.

Well, I don't know too many people that have never done that. It's getting tougher all the time for retailers to make ends meet.

I bought a tablet online, and trips, but not clothes.
