I had the pleasure of seeing Eddie Money in concert twice.  He died in 2019, leaving a legacy of many hits and great music. Although this one wasn't a big hit for him, it's one of my favorites:

Amen.
Deo vindice

J E B Stuart

Golden Earring is a Dutch band. They've been a hit machine for years in their native country.   They even had a few in the good ol' USA. This is the first one and it is a dandy:

Amen.
Deo vindice

J E B Stuart

I suppose Blues Image could be labeled a "one hit wonder."  After all, they had only one hit.  But, what a hit it was!  Ride Captain Ride is one of those songs I wouldn't change a single thing about, even if I could:

Amen.
Deo vindice

Oliver the Second

All the news out of L.A. made me think of this one -

Heh!  And your comment and song made me think of this 1975 classic by a Tulsa lad:

Sadly, Dwight passed away in 2023.

Amen.

This song was huge in 1972.  I remember watching the Jihadis killing all them Jews at the Munich Olympics and this song was playing on the radio that whole summer.

It's also got one of the greatest guitar riff hooks of all time.  Sometimes I'll dig out my electric guitar just to play riffs like this really loud.

Badfinger was a great  Welsh band. Badfinger was a tragic band. Of the four original members, only one survives. Pete Ham hanged himself. Tom Evans did the same thing several years later. Badfinger did leave us a catalogue of great music. This tune is particularly excellent:

Amen.
Deo vindice

Heh. I would've loved to have seen 'em. Only two offed themselves. The drummer died in his sleep of a brain aneurism in 2005.
