Better late than never, I say. He had me hooked with The Amboy Dukes.

They were an underrated band.

"America are a British-American rock band formed in London in 1970 by Dewey Bunnell, Dan Peek and Gerry Beckley. The trio met as sons of US Air Force personnel stationed in London, where they began performing live. . . . - Wikipedia

I don't regularly listen to America, but I readily acknowledge they have put out a lotta really good soft rock over a long career.  Well, I heard this song on TV earlier today and decided it needed a good postin' in this here forum:

Eddie Money's full name was Edward Joseph Mahoney, which cracks me up. Makes me think of the Police Academy movie.  Anyway, when I first heard Eddie on TV, I knew he was the real deal. As I mentioned in another thread, I was fortunate to have seen him live twice. Sadly, he died in 2019 of esophageal cancer.

This song wasn't a hit single for Eddie, but it is one of his best IMHO:

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers produced a shitload o' great music over many years. One of my favorite songs is their first release from their first album:

Amen.

Ten Years After was formed in 1966 and headed by guitar god Alvin Lee. This song hit #40 in the USA and #10 in Canada:
