No. Mick Jagger wrote this song when he was banging David Bowie's wife Angie.

I confess to knowing virtually nothing about KingHarvest, although I remember "Dancing in the Moonlight" quite well. Released in 1975, it climbed to #13 in the USA and #5 in Canada:

I will say this about Jethro Tull - They don't sound like anybody else and nobody else sounds like them. And I said "them", although IMHO founder Ian Anderson is the one man who makes Jethro Tull unique. And JT is still in business.

I listened to 'em a lot back in the 70s and I have the Aqualung album. Since then, however, I essentially drifted to other musical interests.  Make no mistake, though. They were big back then:

Did you know that Black Sabbath founder, guitarist Tony Iommi was a member of Jethro Tull briefly in 1969. I thought that was interesting when I heard that.

Yep. The deeper I go into the histories of these bands and musicians, the more I see a lotta cross-pollination went on.

As for Iommi, Wikipedia provided this, which occurred in 1968:

"Following this, they approached Tony Iommi, guitarist for Earth (soon to be renamed Black Sabbath). Iommi had impressed Jethro Tull when Earth opened for them at a show in Birmingham; he briefly joined the band, but he quit after a few weeks and returned to Birmingham to rejoin Earth, feeling closer to his old band. He stood in with Tull for The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus on 11 December 1968, when the group performed "A Song for Jeffrey", although only Anderson's singing and flute were live. The rest was mimed to the studio track, which featured Abrahams' guitar playing."

Here's that mimed video (Iommi is in the white hat):

You can't really see Iommi's face. But, he is a left handed guitarist. And a different guitar than what he always used in Sabbath.

Lee Michaels is known for this one song, although he has a pretty good sized catalog. I remember when it hit the airwaves. Seemed like it was played almost constantly. And make no mistake - it is a good song:
