Persians lost Persia and being Persians in 651  .. becoming controlled and absorbed by comparably crude violent islamics



In 1935 the Iranian government requested those countries which it had diplomatic relations with, to call Persia (a piece of Iran)  "Iran," which is the name of the country in Persian.
