"I'll shoot you where you stand" man tells manager of Peoria fast food restaurant



A man is accused of using racial slurs and threatening to shoot a Filiberto's manager over a mistake on his food order.



Court records show that on Nov. 13, Beau Jeff Norton, 35, ordered food to-go but later returned to the location near 83rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road after discovering his meal was wrong.



The manager told police that he went outside with the new food order and was confronted by Norton who was yelling racial slurs at him.



According to police, Norton became increasingly hostile and he pointed a handgun about four inches from his face.



A woman in Norton's truck pleaded with him to stop, but instead, Norton reportedly said to the victim, "I'll shoot you where you stand," court paperwork said.

I heard Chris Cuomo say today that being a climate skeptic was like being against interracial marriage.  Only a liberal could make racism out of something that had absolutely nothing to do with race.

First Somali-American Lawmaker Threatened And Called 'ISIS' By Racist Cab Driver



Ilhan Omar became the nation's first-ever Somali-American lawmaker in November, offering a ray of hope amid rampant anti-Muslim attacks across the country. But she became a victim of this violence herself on Wednesday, when a cab driver threatened to rip off her hijab and called her "ISIS."



The Minnesota state representative-elect described what happened as she left a series of meetings at the White House as "the most hateful, derogatory, islamophobic, sexist taunts and threats I have ever experienced" on Facebook Wednesday afternoon.



Omar, who escaped the cab shaken but physically unscathed, told the Minnesota Star Tribune she plans to continue focusing on her scheduled conferences and meetings in Washington D.C., although she is still concerned about her safety.



The incident is part of the growing wave of attacks against Muslims that have occurred throughout the 2016 presidential campaign, some apparently inspired by President-elect Donald Trump's rhetoric. Some of the attackers have mentioned Trump or chanted his name during assaults. Muslim women have been among the most frequently targeted, especially those who visibly practice their faith by wearing hijabs or other religious head coverings.

Denver neighborhood rallies to boot out neo-Nazis who are 'terrorizing' everyone



Residents of a Denver neighborhood say that they're being "terrorized" by a group of neo-Nazis who live there — and they're doing everything they can to get them to leave.



Local news station ABC 7 Denver reports that residents of the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Denver are up in arms about a skinhead group that lives in an old building and that is making life miserable for everyone around them.



According to police records, officers have responded to complaints about the neo-Nazis at their home 11 different times over the past year, and one local shop owner tells ABC 7 Denver that they have been permanently banned from two different local bars.



Several store owners tell the news station they're planning to enact a neighborhood-wide ban on the group in the hopes that they will take the hint and move out of the neighborhood once they have no place left to buy food and other essential items.

For the record, it is THIS cab driver's behavior that I would consider bigoted as well as any following comment saying she deserved it.
